Elena Ibarrola Morlet

Ms. Elena Ibarrola is a founding partner of MIA. She advises domestic and international clients on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, strategic alliances, and other complex corporate transactions involving both public and private sector entities.

Her practice focuses on banking and finance, and capital markets matters, representing issuers and financial institutions in domestic and international debt and equity offerings, as well as advising them on the structuring and negotiation of commercial lending transactions and other financing arrangements.

Ms. Ibarrola also counsels clients on corporate governance, securities law compliance, and regulatory obligations under Mexican law. Her experience includes advising on corporate structuring, shareholder matters, and the insurance sector.

Prior to co-founding MIA, Ms. Ibarrola developed her practice at leading international law firms in Mexico City.
