Ana María Pérez de la Riva Montemayor

Ana María Pérez de la Riva serves as an Associate in MIA's Corporate practice, where she focuses on mergers and acquisitions, financing transactions, and capital markets matters, including transactions before the Mexican Stock Exchange. She is also a member of MIA's Nearshoring and Emerging Technologies working groups.

Prior to joining MIA, Ana practiced at leading international law firms, concentrating on banking and finance and capital markets. She represented international banks, investment funds, fintech companies, and other financial institutions in transactions exceeding MXN 3 trillion.

Ana has extensive experience advising domestic and cross-border financing transactions in the energy, natural resources, and infrastructure sectors, as well as on warehouse financing and whole loan structures designed to enhance financial efficiency and mitigate risk. She is also experienced in matters governed by U.S. law, including the laws of the State of New York.
